Rumored Lucia actress Manni Perez ignores GTA 6 questions on Instagram Live

RUMOR

Manni L. Perez, the actress fans have linked to Lucia Caminos for about two years, held an Instagram Live and left a flood of GTA 6 questions unanswered. IGN’s headline on the event still calls her the “rumored” Lucia actress, and Rockstar has not named anyone in the role.

What we know

IGN reports that GTA 6 fans swarmed the Instagram livestream of rumored Lucia actress Manni L. Perez. We have seen only the headline, not the article body. That headline keeps the word “rumored,” so IGN itself treats her identity as unconfirmed.

Per Ascendants, it was her first Instagram Live, held on October 24, 2026. TheGamer reports more than 2,000 viewers. Coverage of the stream says she talked about her dog, cooking, the gym and her daily routine, and did not respond to GTA 6 comments. A recording surfaced on Reddit on October 25.

Take-Two Interactive’s 10-K for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026 states that Rockstar will release Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19, 2026. Pre-orders began on June 25, 2026. Other Take-Two SEC filings and earnings materials give the same date. Neither filing names a performer for Lucia or Jason in the text we reviewed.

Two claims do not hold up. An Indiatimes headline framed the stream as Perez having “blown her identity.” TheGamer, Ascendants and Fashion Times all say she never addressed GTA 6 or confirmed the role. Fan-site cast pages such as GTAViSpot list her as confirmed, but no Rockstar, Take-Two or platform source names her.

What is rumored

The core theory, graded D, holds that Perez is Lucia’s voice and performance-capture actress. It rests on facial and voice resemblance, a minor GTA Online voice credit and old interviews about an unnamed project under NDA. Sportskeeda, Ascendants, Fashion Times and several aggregators have repeated it. The track record of this genre is poor: earlier fan picks for Lucia, including Ana Esposito, were never confirmed.

TheGamer (James Lucas, October 25) says Rockstar “reportedly” sent actors a strict reminder that they cannot disclose involvement until November 19. It names no source, and Rockstar has not confirmed it. Grade D.

Fan account @GTAVI_Countdown on X claims Perez could not “properly acknowledge her role” because of an NDA. That is one social post offering interpretation, not evidence. Grade D.

Reddit commenters, as summarized by Fashion Times, are split. Some read her silence as an NDA, others as a sign she is not Lucia at all. Fashion Times notes neither Perez nor Rockstar has confirmed the theory. Grade D.

Ascendants, citing unspecified “reports,” says claims tied to an Instagram account once associated with Perez may have come from an impersonator. Grade D. Treat any statement attributed to her outside her verified account as unreliable.

What we don’t know yet

We don’t know whether Perez has any role in GTA 6. Her silence fits an NDA, and it fits no involvement at all. Ascendants makes the same point: it proves neither.

We don’t know whether the NDA reminder TheGamer describes exists, or whether Rockstar plans to publish cast credits around launch.

Rockstar has not filled the gap. Gamerant reported an official Rockstar comment on Lucia’s actor and performance, attributed to Gauvey-Kern, that did not name the actress. Earlier, LADbible reported in September 2026 that Perez had returned to Instagram after a hiatus. Inkl reports she answered a comment about her viral attention with “I don’t know what that means.” That is a secondary report and confirms nothing.

What it means

The scoreboard has not moved. Rockstar has released two main trailers, in December 2023 and May 2025, plus an Extended Look in August 2026 and a Launch Trailer in October 2026. GTALab says no actor for Jason or Lucia has been publicly named by Rockstar or by any actor. The one exception it notes is Stephen Root, who disclosed a role himself, again with no Rockstar announcement.

A livestream about dogs and gym routines is not intel. The only hard date on file is November 19, from Take-Two’s SEC filings. The claim that cast members can talk after that date comes from unsourced reporting, so treat it as a rumor. Until Rockstar publishes a credit, Perez remains what IGN calls her: rumored.
