How we work
Sourcing. Official sources come first: Rockstar Newswire, Rockstar Support, Take-Two investor materials and in-game patch notes. Everything else is weighed by track record. Reporters with a history of accurate Rockstar scoops are named and credited. Datamines are described as datamines. Anonymous posts are treated as unverified until something official or independently confirmed backs them up. We report on leaks, but we do not host, embed or point readers toward leaked files, footage or builds, and we never speculate about who an anonymous leaker is.
Labels. Every claim on the site carries one of three tags in the text itself:
- Confirmed: stated by Rockstar or Take-Two, or visible in the game.
- Reported: carried by an outlet or reporter with a proven record, not yet confirmed.
- Rumor: community speculation, anonymous tips or sources with a mixed record.
A story’s label changes only when the evidence does, and the article says so.
Corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it in the piece and add a dated note explaining what was changed and why. Silent edits are not how this desk operates. If you spot an error, the contact page is the fastest route to the writer responsible.
