GTA 6 radio hosts include Lana Del Rey, Bad Bunny and Morgan Wallen, Rockstar says

CONFIRMED

Rockstar Games has put Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen and Bad Bunny behind the microphones of Grand Theft Auto VI’s radio dial, according to Kotaku’s report on Rockstar’s October 8, 2026 station reveal. Del Rey’s husband, Jeremy Dufrene, is also in the game as a voice performer. A week later, Rockstar released the launch trailer with a new Justice single, and that is where some of the online reporting got tangled.

What we know

Rockstar revealed six GTA VI radio stations and their hosts on Thursday, October 8, 2026, and posted audio previews of each station on the official GTA VI website. Kotaku’s coverage, which cites Rockstar’s own descriptions, gives the lineup.

Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen co-host Back Country Radio, the game’s outlaw country station. Jeremy Dufrene, Del Rey’s husband, voices a character called Mud Dog Mike. Rockstar describes him as the station’s roving reporter and swamp meteorologist.

Bad Bunny and RaiNao host Cocoteo FM, the Latin music station. Robyn and Alex Consani run Flash FM. Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya front The Chamber 106.6. Trick Daddy and Trina handle Dirty South Classics. Rockstar’s October 8 announcement also named Burna Boy among the hosts, and said more stations are coming, including classic rock and talk radio.

Separately, Rockstar released the GTA VI Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026. Per Rockstar’s official description, the trailer debuts ‘Flower in a Hurricane’ by Justice, who Rockstar names as composers of the original score. The track features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar confirms the game arrives November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The debunked part: several headlines framed the launch trailer as featuring guest appearances by Del Rey, Dufrene, Bad Bunny and Wallen. Rockstar’s trailer page credits only the Justice single. Those four were announced seven days earlier as radio hosts and voice cast, not as trailer talent. One widely shared headline about Del Rey and Dufrene joining the game traces to a JustJared piece dated October 8, which covers the radio reveal rather than the trailer. A DANAMIC headline counting ‘3 guest stars’ in the trailer has no matching Rockstar statement that we could find, and the article body deals only with the Justice premiere and the score.

We did not review the trailer frame by frame. The point stands regardless: no official source puts those celebrities in the trailer.

What we don’t know yet

The remaining radio stations. Rockstar said classic rock and talk radio are coming but named no hosts or dates for that reveal.

The full album. Reports of a 34-track ‘Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album’ with Travis Scott, Cardi B, Keith Richards and Morgan Wallen come from outlets outside our approved source list. We cannot confirm the tracklist or the contributors here.

Burna Boy’s station. Rockstar’s reveal named him, but our records do not place him on a specific frequency.

Any role for Del Rey, Wallen or Bad Bunny beyond hosting. Nothing from Rockstar suggests story cameos or in-world characters for the three, and Dufrene’s Mud Dog Mike is the only named character among the group.

PC. No date has been announced.

What it means

The casting signals Rockstar’s usual approach to the radio dial: real musicians playing versions of themselves, with the odd in-world character slotted in for texture. Back Country Radio pairing Del Rey and Wallen with a swamp meteorologist played by Del Rey’s husband is the clearest example of that mix in the lineup so far.

The confusion around the trailer is a reminder of how celebrity names travel. The October 8 radio reveal and the October 15 trailer were separate drops. Once the trailer landed, older headlines about the hosts were recirculated as if they described new footage. They do not.

For the record keepers: the celebrity radio hosts are confirmed via Kotaku’s reporting on Rockstar’s announcement. The Justice song and the launch trailer are confirmed by Rockstar directly. The idea that the two overlap on screen is not supported by anything official. Treat future ‘guest stars in the trailer’ claims accordingly until Rockstar says otherwise.

His beat is everything attached to the next game: release windows, launch details, official trailers, platform plans and the steady drip of leaks that fills the gap between Rockstar announcements. He treats every claim as a question of sourcing first. A Take-Two earnings call or a Rockstar Newswire post gets reported as fact. A datamine or a tipster with a mixed record gets labeled as such. When a story shifts, he updates the piece and says what changed rather than quietly rewriting it. Readers should always be able to tell what is confirmed and what is still talk.
