GTA Online heist payouts ranked from best to worst
Cayo Perico still pays the most heist money per hour in GTA Online, with a hard-mode Panther Statue worth $2,090,000 that one player can grab alone. The Diamond Casino Heist has the biggest single vault at $3,619,000, but you split it with at least one other player. Here is every heist ranked by its maximum take, with setup fees, player minimums and the property you need before the first dollar lands.
The ranking at a glance
Figures are the maximum finale payout on hard difficulty before crew cuts. Apartment heists list the hard-mode total; the Casino and Cayo figures are the top-tier target on hard.

1. The Cayo Perico Heist
The solo money machine since December 2020. You need the Kosatka from Warstock Cache & Carry, $2,200,000 base price, then every run costs $25,000 to start.
Primary target values on normal difficulty after the TU1.73 nerf: Sinsimito Tequila $400,000, Ruby Necklace $560,000, Bearer Bonds $616,000, Pink Diamond $910,000, Panther Statue $1,900,000. Hard mode adds 10%, so the Pink Diamond becomes $1,001,000 and the Panther Statue $2,090,000. The target is random each run, and the two top items appear less often than the bottom three.
Secondary loot stacks on top. Gold is the best of it at roughly $295,000 to $333,000 per stack, and a stack fills two thirds of a bag, so a full bag of gold is around $443,000 to $450,000. Cocaine is around $178,000 to $182,000 per stack at half a bag each, so a full bag of two stacks is roughly $356,000 to $364,000. Weed is around $117,000 to $121,000 per stack. Cash is the weakest pickup on the island.
Pavel takes 2% and the fence takes 10% before the money hits your account. Solo runs carry a 48-minute cooldown, and firing it off again too quickly stretches that to 2 hours 24 minutes. Even with those limits, a practised player clears well over $1,000,000 an hour.
Agent's note
Scope the compound cameras and the basement before you leave the island on the gather intel mission. The gold in the compound office is only reachable with the El Rubio keycard, and most solo players skip it because they never scouted it.
2. The Diamond Casino Heist
The biggest vault in the game, but never a solo job. Minimum two players, and you need an arcade, cheapest being Pixel Pete’s in Paleto Bay at $1,235,000.
Vault contents and hard-mode maximums: Cash $2,326,500, Artwork $2,585,000, Gold $2,843,500, Diamonds $3,619,000. Diamonds only show up during Rockstar’s limited-time windows, so treat the gold figure as your realistic ceiling.
Lester takes 10% off the top. Your NPC hacker, driver and gunman take their own cuts, and the Casino’s $2,000,000 cap per player per finale is why four-player crews leave money in the vault. Two players at an 85/15 split is the standard grind setup.
3. The Doomsday Heist
Three acts, all launched from a facility starting at $1,250,000. Hard mode pays 25% more across the board.
Act III, The Doomsday Scenario, pays $2,025,000 on hard for a $120,000 setup fee. Act II, The Bogdan Problem, pays $1,187,500 and became famous for the “Bogdan glitch” replay that Rockstar patched years ago. Act I, Data Breaches, pays $812,500. All three run with two to four players, and two is the sweet spot for your share.
4. Pacific Standard
The best of the 2015 apartment heists. Four players required, $100,000 setup, $1,250,000 on hard. The bike route from the bank to the boat is where most crews lose their take, so practise it before you host.
The Criminal Mastermind challenge still sits over these five heists: all of them in order, on hard, same four players, nobody dies, for a $10,000,000 bonus. It remains the single largest lump sum available in GTA Online.
5. Humane Labs, Series A and Prison Break
Humane Labs Raid pays $675,000 on hard for $54,000. Series A Funding pays $505,000 for $40,400. Prison Break pays $500,000 for $40,000. All need four players and a high-end apartment, and each burns 60 to 90 minutes with preps. They exist for the Mastermind run, not for income.
6. Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid
Added in March 2024 and the best starting point for a fresh character. No property, no setup fee, solo friendly, launched from Vincent’s phone call. Four prep missions lead to a $500,000 finale. It ranks low on raw payout but first on return on investment, because your investment is zero.
7. The Fleeca Job
Two players, $11,500 setup, $143,750 on hard. It is a tutorial with a paycheque. Run it once for the Mastermind chain and move on.
Quick steps: reach the top of this list from a fresh account
- Run the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid solo until you have around $2,300,000.
- Buy the Kosatka from Warstock Cache & Carry for $2,200,000. Skip the upgrades for now.
- Call Pavel, pay the $25,000 fee and complete the Cayo Perico preps on hard.
- Bank the finale, wait out the 48-minute cooldown, repeat.
Heads up
Your “gta 5 cheat codes” from story mode do nothing in GTA Online, and any money mod or glitch exploit puts your account on Rockstar’s ban list. Rockstar has also wiped modded cash balances during past sweeps. Grind it clean.
What this means for your bank balance
Buy the Kosatka first. Nothing else in the game turns one hour into more money with fewer people. Add an arcade once you have a reliable partner, since two-player Casino runs on gold beat solo Cayo on tequila. Leave the facility and apartments until you are chasing the Mastermind bonus or want variety. With the “release date for gta 6” now locked to 2026, the remaining months are your window to turn GTA Online heist money into every vehicle and property you ever wanted on this map.

The Diamond Casino Heist with Diamonds in the vault, $3,619,000 on hard. You need at least two players and Diamonds are only available during limited events.

No. Every figure here applies across all current platforms, including the 2025 enhanced PC version.
Is Cluckin’ Bell worth it if I already own the Kosatka?
Only as filler during a Cayo cooldown. It pays $500,000 with no fees, which is roughly a third of a good Cayo run for similar time.
