GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek claims leaks stop ‘for now’ but warns of spoiler dead man’s switch

Update, October 19, 2026: PC Gamer now reports that Cyberleek’s final website message makes the withheld ending conditional on Take-Two leaving it alone. New reporting also details the Lucia clips and the $30M full-build threat that came before the stop, a threat that has since lapsed with no build released.
The leaker known as Cyberleek says its GTA 6 leaks are over, for now. PC Gamer reports that on October 14, 2026 it posted a message to its now-defunct website saying it would withhold the game’s ending as long as Take-Two leaves it alone, and that a “dead man’s switch” is active. Its earlier threat to release a full-story build fell apart when its memecoin missed its target by a wide margin.
What we know
PC Gamer’s report confirms one thing: the statement exists. It does not confirm that Cyberleek holds the ending or that any switch is armed. Kotaku previously reported the message came in three parts, described the token as a donation rather than an investment, and signed off with “The leeks stop here. For now.”
That same day, Cyberleek posted a roughly four-minute Lucia video showing a haircut, a shop robbery and pool, plus clips it says come from the final missions. Its site then went offline.
The grievance behind it is the disc. Rockstar opened pre-orders on June 25, 2026, at midnight local time, at $79.99 standard and $99.99 Ultimate. Fortune reports Rockstar Support later said a physical copy could be acquired “during the following months.” Cyberleek’s demand was “physical disks and a public apology.”
The leaks began in mid-August. TechPowerUp reports Take-Two issued subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord and filed copyright takedowns. On August 26 to 27, Rockstar called the leaks “heartbreaking” for the team and said the game was “nearly there.” Dexerto reports Cyberleek paused after the Extended Look, returned in October, and posted 25 minutes of gameplay on October 8. As of about October 16, Dexerto reports Rockstar has not commented on the October leaks. No arrests or identification are on record.
What is rumored
“The Offer,” posted around October 10 and reported by IGN and Video Games Chronicle, promised a full-story build if the leaker’s Solana memecoin hit a $30 million market cap. It never said whether that meant a playable build or a video playthrough. Mashable covered the Lucia videos and threat on October 13, a day before the stop. Per Protos and IGN figures, the coin peaked near $7.8 million and fell to roughly $1 million to $1.2 million.
Cyberleek, a grade D source, has had footage widely circulated but no build authenticated, and has announced an end before and returned.
Notebookcheck, citing a clip that surfaced on ResetEra, describes a roughly five-minute video including nudity, an ATM robbery and parachute jumps, and infers it comes from an earlier developer build. That inference is speculative. Protos also reported the nudity-focused drop. Rockstar has authenticated none of it.
Cyberleek’s claim of a 200GB-plus playable build and the ending, relayed by Dexerto, Protos, Happy Gamer and GameDaily, is unverified and could be a bluff. Esquire India reported in August that an earlier switch would upload a full playable build. The October 14 statement narrows it to story spoilers.
Via Notebookcheck, Cyberleek says “the game is not ready at all.” It has an anti-disc agenda and a token to promote. Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has reportedly said the game is “pretty close to being finished.”
What we don’t know yet
Whether the switch exists. Whether any complete build exists. How recent the Lucia footage is. Whether Take-Two’s legal efforts have progressed. When physical copies will arrive.
What it means
By the leaker’s own account, the build threat is off. What remains is a conditional, unproven spoiler threat. GTA 6 is still scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preload from November 12.
Rockstar has weathered this before. The September 2022 “teapotuberhacker” breach leaked about 90 development videos, and Rockstar confirmed it.
Practical guidance: mute “Cyberleek,” “GTA 6 ending,” “final mission” and character names. Treat any clip labeled late-game as unverifiable. Stick to Rockstar’s official footage.
Bottom line: the leaker says it has stopped, and its biggest threat failed its own test. We will update if Rockstar or Take-Two comment.
