GTA 6 editions compared: what each version includes
Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It has not announced any editions, prices or pre-order bonuses. Any page that lists Standard, Ultimate or physical edition contents as fact is ahead of the official record, and this briefing shows where each claim actually stands.

What we know
The confirmed list is short. Rockstar has given a launch date, two console families and two protagonists, Jason and Lucia. The game is set in the state of Leonida, with Vice City as its main hub. The first GTA 6 trailer arrived in December 2023 and the second in May 2025. Neither one mentioned editions, bonuses or price.
Take-Two has discussed GTA 6 on several earnings calls, mostly about timing and its confidence in the release. CEO Strauss Zelnick has said many times that the company wants to give players more value than it charges. That is a pricing philosophy, though, and it doesn’t amount to a price. That table looks empty because it is. Rockstar usually reveals editions together with pre-orders. When pre-orders open, the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Rockstar Store listings will carry the real contents, and we will fill in every cell.
Platforms and versions
Two platforms are confirmed. Rockstar has not said whether the game will offer different performance modes on PS5 Pro, and it has not announced a PC version. Its history points toward PC arriving later. GTA V reached PC about 18 months after the console launch, and Red Dead Redemption 2 took about a year. Treat a PC edition as not announced until Rockstar says otherwise.
Supported languages
Rockstar has not published a language list. Both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 shipped with a wide range of subtitle and interface languages, with English as the only voiced language. Expect the store listings to confirm this for GTA 6. Until they do, the language list is not announced.
What is rumored
Several pages ranking for GTA 6 editions present detailed lineups. Some name a GTA 6 Ultimate Edition, a physical edition and a “Vintage Vice City Pack” full of retro vehicles, unisex outfits, tattoo and salon options, and classic versions of series cars like the Grotti Cheetah or the Dominator. GTA 6 Standard Edition
Status: Not announced. A standard edition is near-certain because every Rockstar release has had one. Its price is a separate question. The current console norm is $70, and Nintendo set an $80 price for Mario Kart World in 2025. Microsoft announced $80 for The Outer Worlds 2 and then went back to $70 after player backlash. Some analysts have argued GTA 6 could support a higher price, but that is commentary and not leaked information. Credibility: speculation, no leak.
GTA 6 Ultimate Edition
Status: Not announced. The name comes from precedent. Red Dead Redemption 2 launched with an Ultimate Edition that bundled story extras with Red Dead Online bonuses, so plenty of people expect the same naming here. We have found no official listing and no proven reporter backing a specific GTA 6 Ultimate Edition. Credibility: unverified listings and fan expectation.
GTA 6 Physical Edition
Status: Not announced. Disc versions will almost certainly exist on PS5, and on Xbox Series X for players with a disc drive. Questions about disc contents, such as how much data is on the disc or whether some boxes only carry a download code, have no official answer yet. Credibility: no credible source on contents.
Vintage Vice City Pack and bonus vehicles
Status: Not announced. We could not match this pack, or any of the retro vehicle and outfit line-ups linked to it, to a Rockstar, Take-Two or platform store source. The car names that circulate are familiar ones lifted from earlier games and GTA Online, which makes them easy to invent. Treat any “electric” Cheetah, Rideout bonus or Ganado-themed outfit set as unverified until a store page lists it. Credibility: unverified, no named or proven source.
Leaks generally
The 2022 leak of early development footage was real. Rockstar acknowledged the breach, and outlets including Bloomberg reported on it. None of that material is reported to have covered retail editions or bonuses. We have seen no edition details from a proven reporter. Most edition “leaks” come from anonymous accounts with no track record, so treat them that way.
Heads up
Fake pre-order pages and “early access” offers for GTA 6 are a known scam pattern. Only buy through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Store or a major retailer once pre-orders officially open.

Both games launched with a three-tier digital or retail structure. The premium tiers added story-mode extras such as weapons, vehicles, outfits and cash or ability boosts, and RDR2’s top tier also included online bonuses. Both games offered pre-order bonuses. RDR2 gave buyers a War Horse and an Outlaw Survival Kit in story mode, plus Gold Bars for Red Dead Online.
A three-tier GTA 6 lineup with a pre-order pack is the reasonable expectation. It is still only an expectation. Rockstar could change its approach, especially with an online component that will run for years after launch.
Our advice is simple. Don’t pay anyone for a GTA 6 edition today, because no legitimate seller can take your order yet. Use the wait to prepare for GTA 6 instead. Check the GTA 6 file size estimates, clear storage and keep an eye on the release date for GTA 6 in case anything changes.
